Welcome to Fremantle's Farmers' Market!Instead of racing round giant shopping malls this summer, bring the family and spend a lazy morning in the shade under the trees and enjoy some live music, hot food, fair trade coffee and fresh juices while you do the weekly grocery shop.
Growers’ Green Farmers’ Market is held every Sunday morning from 8 - 12 on the lawns at the front of South Fremantle Senior High School in Beaconsfield. Growers’ Green was created to provide a genuine alternative to the supermarket shopping experience. Come and meet and talk directly to the people who are growing and making your food! Our stall holders are passionate about their produce. Fresh, local and grower-direct fruit and veg is available each week, along with bread, organic beef, fish, local honey, eggs and olive oil, baked goods, herbs, jams, plants, fresh flowers, organic dog food and more. The first Sunday of every month is 'Big Market' day at Growers’ Green, with stalls selling vintage, handmade and pre-loved clothing, books, jewellery, craft, gifts and accessories. The markets are run by South Fremantle Senior High School P&C. All profits go towards enrichment opportunities for students. As well as providing an outlet for growers and makers, and a fun, shared shopping experience for the community, much-needed funds are raised to improve student amenities at the school. Local primary schools in the Fremantle area also benefit, by raising money through parking donations. See you on the Green! |
